Four students from Lemont High School were recognized as "Students of the Month" for October at the district's Board of Education meeting held on October 21. The honored students included senior Maggie Prochaska for Physical Education, junior Natalie Hamersly for Art, sophomore Fallyn Arnold for World Languages, and freshman Sonia Marusarz for Family & Consumer Sciences.

Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District 113A has secured a grant from CITGO aimed at enhancing STEM programming. The $50,000 grant will be used to integrate science, engineering, math, and technology into physical education classes and recess, providing new learning opportunities for students.

Lemont High School's Drama Club is set to present the play "Puffs, or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic & Magic" as its fall production. The performances will take place from October 31 to November 2 at the school's Performing Arts Center, starting each night at 7 p.m.

Lemont High School's Joey Scott made history at the 2024 IHSA Class 2A Boys’ Golf State Finals held at Weibring Golf Club, Illinois State University. The junior golfer tied for seventh place individually, becoming Lemont’s first two-time all-state performer. Under head coach Mark Hollatz, the team secured eighth place out of 12 teams.
