Lemont High School's Drama Club is set to present the play "Puffs, or: Seven Increasingly Eventful Years at a Certain School of Magic & Magic" as its fall production. The performances will take place from October 31 to November 2 at the school's Performing Arts Center, starting each night at 7 p.m.
Tickets for the event are priced at $10 for adults and $8 for students and senior citizens. They can be purchased online through Lemont High School's website or in person on the night of the performance. Online tickets are valid for any show date.
The play "Puffs," directed by Paula Troesch, tells the story of well-meaning students who spent seven years alongside a famous boy wizard at a magical school. It offers a perspective for those who have never been destined to save the world. The play, written by Matt Cox, is not affiliated with J.K. Rowling or Warner Bros.
In addition to the play, Lemont High School’s Art Department will host an art exhibition in Gallery 306 featuring student artwork. The exhibition will be open from 5:45 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., prior to each performance.
Attendees can park in either the school’s parking garage or in the lot outside the Performing Arts Center, both accessible via Julia Street. Lemont High School is located at 800 Porter Street in Lemont.
