LF members and those interested in its activities are invited to attend the Lithuanian Foundation's 62nd Annual Members’ Meeting. The event is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the Lithuanian World Center in Lemont, Illinois. Registration will start at 9:00 a.m., with the meeting beginning at 10:00 a.m. Central Standard Time.
The meeting will be conducted in Lithuanian and can be viewed via live stream through a provided link.
The agenda includes several key components such as the opening by Juozas Kapačinskas, national anthems of the USA and Lithuania, and presentations of both the presidium and guests of honor. There will also be an invocation and honoring of deceased LF members.
Key reports will be presented by various committee leaders including Dalius Vasys from the Registration Commission, Marius Kasniūnas from the Nominating Committee, Juozas Kapačinskas as Chairman of the Board of Directors, Audronė Pavilčius-Karalius as President, Gintaras Vaišnys from the Finance Committee, Laima Kilienė as Treasurer, Tauras Bublys from the Grants Commission, and Jonas Howes from the Development Committee.
During this meeting, elections for five new Board members will take place. Each elected member will serve a three-year term. Members are encouraged to vote electronically until April 24 or by mail or in person during the meeting itself.
