Lemont High School recognizes over 950 honor roll students

Lemont High School has recognized 952 students for their academic achievements in the second semester of the 2023-24 school year. Students were awarded either Honor Roll or High Honor Roll distinctions.

The senior class had the highest number of honorees, with 256 students recognized, comprising 198 on the High Honor Roll and 58 on the Honor Roll. The junior class followed closely with a total of 254 honorees, including 210 on the High Honor Roll and 44 on the Honor Roll. Freshmen accounted for 228 recipients (171 High Honor Roll, 57 Honor Roll), while sophomores had a total of 214 honorees (173 High Honor Roll, 41 Honor Roll).

To qualify for High Honor Roll status, students must be enrolled in six or more class periods and maintain a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.5. For the standard Honor Roll recognition, students need to achieve a GPA between 3.00 and 3.49. Students receiving any grade lower than a "C" are not eligible for these honors.
