Lemont High School's Student Services Department is organizing two events in October to assist students and families with post-high school planning. The first event, "College and Financial Aid Night," will take place on Wednesday, October 9, at 7 p.m. in the Performing Arts Center at Lemont High School.
Denise Dalton, Student Services Chair, along with representatives from the College of DuPage admissions and financial aid departments, will discuss topics such as college preparation and the admissions and financial aid processes. Additionally, representatives from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) will be available to provide information and answer questions.
Attendees of the College and Financial Aid Night should enter through the Performing Arts Center entrance located on the southwest side of Lemont High School's campus at 800 Porter Street.
The second event is the 2024 College & Career Fair, scheduled for Thursday, October 24, from 6-8 p.m. It will be held at Lockport High School’s East Campus Field House. This fair will feature over 100 colleges and more than 50 career fields with representatives present. Participants should enter through Door #1 at Lockport’s East Campus located at 1333 E. Seventh Street in Lockport.
