Earl Adrain Cheese, Collectibles Enthusiast, Dies at 90 in Downers Grove

Earl Adrain Cheese, aged 90, passed away peacefully at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital in Downers Grove, Illinois. Survived by his daughter, Marge Sommers, and four grandchildren, Earl was known for his lifelong passion for petronolina and automobilia. A resident of Lemont, Illinois, Earl amassed a large collection of antique gasoline pumps and porcelain signs, earning recognition in the collecting community. He worked at Reynolds Metals in McCook for 37 years, retiring in 1989. Earl was a member of the Puckerville Club and valued for his knowledge and storytelling. Visitation will be held on June 2, 2025, and June 3, 2025, at Markiewicz Funeral Home, with funeral services on June 3, 2025. Interment will be private.
