Thomas Dale Belli, known as Dale, age 69, passed away peacefully in Lemont, IL after a valiant battle with kidney cancer. Originally from Philadelphia, Dale grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, where he excelled in sports and played football for the University of Kentucky. With a background in transportation logistics, Dale found his true pride and joy in his family life with his wife Carolyn, whom he married in 1988. He was a devoted husband and father to their children Nick and Gina, always their staunchest advocate.

Dale had a passion for rock and roll and took pleasure in attending concerts with Carol and Nick. An enthusiast of music, sports, Kentucky culture, horse racing, and history, Dale was known for his upbeat demeanor, contagious laughter, and a treasury of fun facts. He will be deeply missed by his family.

Preceded in death by his parents and a half-brother, Dale is survived by his wife Carolyn and children Nicholas and Gina.

Visitation for Dale will be held at Markiewicz Funeral Home in Lemont on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, followed by a private interment. Dale’s legacy of strength, courage, humor, and love continues to live on in his family.
