Lemont High School's Performing Arts Center is set to host nightly performances of Music Theater International's Annie from May 8 through May 10. All performances are scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., with tickets available for purchase at $15 each. All seating, including both the main level and balcony, will be reserved seats.

The production of Annie will involve a team with Dave Nommensen as the producer, Tammy Heerde as the director, and Jeni Donahue handling choreography. The orchestral direction will be led by Ben Clemons, with vocal direction by Andreece Nikudinovski and rehearsal accompaniment by Michael Oldham. The design team includes Thomas Kieffer for costumes, Robert Kuper for make-up, Max Thalhammer for sound, and Daniel Salazar for lighting. Jeana Parry will manage the box office and front-of-house operations.

Tickets are available for advance purchase online, requiring credit card payment. This option allows patrons the convenience of skipping lines at the show, selecting seats, and printing tickets at home. Tickets can also be purchased at the venue door, subject to availability, through credit card, cash, or check. Additional ticket information can be accessed by calling (630) 243-3815.

Annie, a widely acclaimed production based on Harold Gray's comic strip "Little Orphan Annie," has won seven Tony Awards, including Best Musical. Known for its songs such as "Tomorrow," "Maybe," and "It’s a Hard Knock Life," the story follows the titular character Annie as she navigates life in New York City in pursuit of her birth parents. Despite obstacles, she finds a new family with billionaire Oliver Warbucks and his secretary Grace Farrell.

In addition to the musical, Lemont High School's Art Department will hold a spring art show in Gallery 306. The gallery, opened in the Fall of 2017, will feature student artwork nightly from May 9 to May 11 between 5:45 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.

The presentation of Annie at Lemont High School is made possible through a special arrangement with Music Theater International, with all authorized performance materials provided by MTI.
