Four students from Lemont High School were recognized as January's "Students of the Month" during the district’s Board of Education meeting on January 21. The honorees included senior Evan Lambe for Special Education, junior Molly O’Connor for Student Services, sophomore Adriana Paulavicius for Driver Education, and freshman Jacqueline Kennedy for Health.
Lemont High School acknowledges one student from each grade level every month to celebrate their hard work and commitment to both the school and community. The selections are made by rotating through different departments each month. Over a school year, only 32 students receive this recognition, with four being honored monthly from October to May. Students can only be selected once during their time at Lemont High School.
Local businessman Brad Grcevic from Edward Jones, Inc. in Lemont supports this initiative by donating to a charity chosen by the award winners each month. For January, the recipients chose Hope & Friendship Foundation to benefit from the donation.
