Matas Castillo tallies 7 points and 3 steals in Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers’ matchup against Ferris State Bulldogs

On Thursday, January 16, Matas Castillo, the former standout Lemont High School athlete, saw action in the Wisconsin–Parkside Rangers’ 78-to-66 win over the Ferris State Bulldogs.

The 6′0″ sophomore guard put up seven points, three steals and two rebounds in 30 minutes of action.

Castillo was not the only former Lemont Press area athlete to play in Thursday’s game. Rokas Castillo also played for Rangers in the game.

Rokas Castillo, a 6′0″ sophomore guard from Lemont High School, registered 11 points, one rebound and one steal in 14 minutes.

Up next for the Rangers: on Saturday, January 18 at 4 p.m., Wisconsin–Parkside plays against the Lake Superior State Lakers at home.
