The Village of Lemont has announced the introduction of a new registration platform for the Quarryman Challenge 5K and 10-mile races, scheduled for May 10, 2025.
Starting January 1, 2025, participants can register for the event at https://runsignup.com/Race/IL/Lemont/Quarryman. The initial fees are set at $40 for the 5K and $60 for the 10-mile race, with additional sign-up fees. According to the announcement, after March 23, these rates will increase to $50 for the 5K and $70 for the 10-mile race. These prices will remain effective through May 1, with further increases as the race date nears.
The Lemont Quarryman Challenge offers runners a scenic route through Lemont's small-town charm. Both races will commence on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at 7:30 a.m. CDT from the historic downtown district of Lemont, specifically starting at 418 Main Street.
