Lemont-Bromberek Combined School District 113A recently received positive feedback from the South Cook Intermediate Service Center regarding the condition of its school buildings. The inspection found no violations, marking the fifth consecutive year without any issues. Dr. Bob Sabatino, Health/Life Safety Team Leader, praised Director of Operations Pat Crean and his team for their efforts.
“The pride in your facilities, the staff care, and the great work you are doing for the students of your community were clearly evident,” stated Sabatino's letter. “Students and staff have well-maintained, positive environments for learning. Continue whatever you are doing because it is obviously working!”
The district is also recognizing staff contributions through its "Our Purpose. Our People." awards and video series on YouTube. This initiative aims to highlight the often-overlooked work of maintenance and operations teams.
“Pat Crean and his team continue to go above and beyond every day in their work and it is so great to see them recognized in this way,” said Superintendent Dr. Courtney Orzel. She emphasized that while teachers and support staff are crucial, there are many unsung heroes behind the scenes contributing significantly to the schools' success.
