Lemont High School is inviting nominations for its Alumni Hall of Fame, aiming to honor graduates who have made notable contributions to society and serve as role models for current students. This recognition represents the highest accolade bestowed by the school upon its alumni.
"The Lemont High School Alumni Hall of Fame recognizes graduates who have made significant contributions to society and serve as role models to Lemont High School students."
To qualify, nominees must be individuals of good character, reflecting the values promoted by Lemont High School. Eligibility requires that nominees graduated at least ten years prior. They should have achieved substantial success in their professional fields or demonstrated exceptional bravery, heroism, or community service. Nominees are expected to exemplify high ethical and moral standards.
"Nominations also can come from current and former teachers and staff, students, family members, business and civic leaders, and other community members."
The deadline for submissions is Wednesday, October 30. Interested parties can contact Tony Hamilton, Director of School & Community Relations, for further details.
The selected class will be celebrated at the school's annual Band Dinner Dance on March 8, 2025.
While distinct from the Athletic Hall of Fame established in 2004 for recognizing athletic achievements and support within the community, honorees from that hall may also be considered for inclusion in the Alumni Hall of Fame if they meet its criteria.
