Lemont High School acknowledges one student from each grade every month for their commitment to both the school and the community. The departments that nominate students rotate monthly. Each academic year, 32 students receive the “Student of the Month” distinction, with four recognized each month from October through May. Students can only receive this award once during their time at Lemont High School.
Local businessman Brad Grcevic of Edward Jones, Inc. in Lemont donates to a charity chosen by the award recipients each month. For October, the selected organizations were Feed6 and the Lemont High School National Honor Society. “This month’s winners selected Feed6 and the Lemont High School National Honor Society to receive the donation.”
